For this reason I would like to ask you if you could please have the
conscription records for the province of (name of province) searched to find
(grandfather/ggrandfather's name), born on (date of birth). I know I am
asking a lot, but I don't know who else to turn to.
Also, I would be very grateful if I could have a photocopy of the document,
if it is found. If the conscription records don't exist for that period,
or
if you know of other sources, I would be very grateful if you could suggest
